After graduating from veterinary school Dr. Ransom served in a number of different roles including as a board member for the non-profit organization Wee Companions Small Animal Adoptions Inc., as a clinical instructor of veterinary medicine, as a senior veterinarian at a local animal shelter, and as a dedicated small animal private practitioner. He has also volunteered with Maui Humane Society in Hawaii, and the Humane Society of the United States Rural Area Veterinary Services in South Dakota providing free services to areas that otherwise wouldn’t have access to veterinary care.

When he isn’t seeing his patients and clients at Katie’s PET DEPOT in La Verne Dr. Ransom enjoys spending time with his fiancé and their four dogs. He is a self-admitted “tech geek” who loves staying current on the cutting edge of technology especially when it can help keep his patients healthy.
